with a square piece of paper about 8 inches x 8 inches. Fold corner to
corner,
unfold. Side to
side, unfold. Corner to corner, unfold. Side to side, unfold.

Fold
corner to center.

Fold
edge AB to center. Unfold and repeat for opposite corner.

Unfolded
paper should look like this.

Form
triangle by folding paper in half along Line AB. Then fold on tip of
this triangle
back down along Line CC on one side, turn over, then fold the
other tip down along Line
DD. Your paper should be positioned to look like this.

Fold
Edge AB up to guide Line AC and crease. Turn over and repeat.

Fold
right sided Point C along Line AB and crease.

Fold
this section back on itself lining up Edge AB with Edge BC. Unfold step
7 & 8.

Airplane
fold right; point so that Edge AB lines up with Edge BC. Turn over and
repeat.
Unfold step 9. This gives you a guide line for the next step.

Fold
together both Edges AB so they line up with AC. Unfold.

This
step is tricky. Pinch together the top edge of your paper just behind
the dotted
line. Then push the right hand tip up and in. Smooth and
flatten.

Your
piece of paper should now look like this.

Fold
Point; B behind.

Fold
top tip down. Unfold back up.

Using
crease made in Step 14 as a guide, fold top tip back on itself. Unfold
and refold
so that tip is now inside. This will be the head.

Fold
front top tip down so the head section looks like a kite.

Fold
long section of kite back on itself using the side Points AB as a
guide.

Fold
Point A to meet Point B.

Fold
pointed tip inside itself.

Your
piece of paper should look like this now.

Fold
Point A to touch Point B.

Fold
Edge AB back on itself to line up with Edge AC.

Fold
Edge AB back on itself again so Edge AB meets Line AC. Unfold steps 21,
22, and 23.

Your
paper should look like this.

This
part is tricky too. Pinch together left hand point; and top edge by the
neck. Push
left hand point; inside itself so that the second crease mark
becomes the outside edge.

Snip
with scissors a place for the tail and ears.

Hold
lower half of tail section inside alpaca. Fold lower half of ears
inside the neck
of the alpaca.

Fold
tip of rear leg inside itself. Fold tips of front legs out so the
alpaca will stand
on his own. Color and decorate.
